Standalone Farms has certainly kicked 2014 off with a bang! We spent the first two weeks of January in St. Louis at the Winter Festival weeks 3 & 4. Lanie Thomas and her horse Albion won the $25,000 Grand Prix during the first week. Neil Badcock and Corrido, owned by Jessie Bonisteel, won the $25,000 Grand Prix during the second week! This was Corrido’s second time ever in a Grand Prix having stepped up during the course of the two weeks.
Here is a great video of Neil and Corrido in the jump off together:
Claire Radvanyi and her horse Charlie Brown also stepped up to the Grand Prix level and put in some awesome rounds. Tara Basilli and her horse Wimbleton had many successful rounds in the Amatuer-Owner Hunter classes, placing 1st several times. Morgan Legallais and her horse Adventure T logged several clear rounds and good places in the .95 and 1m jumper ring.
Wow – congrats guys on an amazing start to 2014!!!
