Standalone capped off a very successful winter series this past weekend at The International Omaha Horse Show. Sam Pegg and Shaia de Macheo jumped two great rounds in the National Grand Prix classes, claiming a 6th place finish the first night and a 5th the second. Jessie Bonisteel’s Corrido made an impressive FEI debut alongside the resident old-timer Albion. Neil Badcock and Jessie Bonisteel’s Corrido have enjoyed several successful outings, including winning 3 classes at Palgrave in a row and coming second in the Talent Squad class at Angelstone. Standalone Farms has certainly kicked 2014 off with a bang! We spent the first two weeks of January in St. Louis at the Winter Festival weeks 3 & 4. Lanie Thomas and her horse Albion won the $25,000 Grand Prix during the first week. Neil Badcock and Corrido, owned by Jessie Bonisteel, won the $25,000 Grand Prix during the second week! This was Corrido’s second time ever in a Grand Prix having stepped up during the course of the two weeks.
