Standalone capped off a very successful winter series this past weekend at The International Omaha Horse Show. Sam Pegg and Shaia de Macheo jumped two great rounds in the National Grand Prix classes, claiming a 6th place finish the first night and a 5th the second. Jessie Bonisteel’s Corrido made an impressive FEI debut alongside the resident old-timer Albion. Charlie Brown had an unlucky rail in the $55,000 Grand Prix, finishing 12th at the incredible venue that is set to host the World Cup Finals in 2017. With three horses competing in the International Division and one in the National Series, it was a busy weekend. A HUGE thank-you going out to Whitney Taylor and Jessie Bonisteel for helping make the magic happen behind the scenes in Omaha.

Earlier in the winter in Lake St. Louis, Charlie brown was piloted to victory by his owner Claire Radvanyi in numerous 1.30 Jr/Am classes as well as two top 12 placing in the January Grand Prix’s. Corrido and Albion claimed several top 5 spots throughout the $25,000 Grand Prix series, while the baby of the bunch Kayto rocked out in the 1.15m and 5 y/o classes. In February, Goa and Annie Lanzinger came home with a collection of ribbons, including a win in the Novice jumpers; Kelly O’keefe and Cabaret finished top three in several Modified Jr/Am classes and Whitney Taylor’s Quantum stepped up to jump (and win) in the 1.30’s.
